Job summary

American Family Care, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for an urgent care clinic. You will oversee non-physician staff, manage patient care quality, and ensure facility maintenance and accurate billing. This role collaborates directly with a franchised location and adapts duties by franchise requirements.

The position emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service within a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a medical office or clinic.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboard front office medical receptionist, medical assistant, x-ray and other positions.
• Supervise, evaluate, and conduct performance reviews for non-provider staff.
• Partner with Medical Director to ensure high-quality care aligns with physician instructions.
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies, procedures and state/federal rules.
• Lead staff meetings, daily huddles, and in-service programs.
• Address patient and staff concerns while monitoring satisfaction metrics.
• Oversee front office procedures and accuracy of financial transactions.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and adequate stock of supplies.
• Monitor KPIs and implement continual improvement programs.
