Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an operations manager for an urgent care clinic. You will oversee non-physician staff, maintain facility operations, and ensure accurate patient charges and high-quality care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Medical office experience required.
• Minimum of two years' supervisory experience in a medical office preferred.
• Computer proficiency.
• Strong written, verbal, and consultative communication skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, etc., and revenue cycle management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations for an urgent care clinic and oversee non-physician staff.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard front office, medical assistant, x-ray, and other roles.
• Maintain staffing across clinic locations and ensure optimal scheduling.
• Supervise and evaluate non-provider staff performance.
• Partner with Medical Director to ensure high quality care per physician instructions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor patient flow and satisfaction; lead staff meetings and training.
• Ensure accurate financial transactions and facility maintenance.
