Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Clinic Operations Manager to oversee an urgent care center. You will manage all non-physician staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and maintain clinic facilities and supplies, while guaranteeing accurate patient billing.

You will recruit and onboard front office staff, coordinate staffing across locations, supervise performance, and partner with the Medical Director to align care with physician instructions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Medical office experience required.
• Minimum of two years' supervisory experience in a medical office.
• Proficient with computers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA and revenue cycle management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboard front office receptionist, medical assistant, x-ray, and other roles.
• Maintain and adjust work schedules and ensure staffing across clinic networks.
• Supervise, evaluate, and conduct performance reviews of non-provider staff.
• Partner with Medical Director to ensure care aligns with physician instructions.
• Ensure staff comply with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure employees are trained to perform duties safely and correctly.
• Monitor patient flow to ensure efficient care.
• Lead staff meetings, daily huddles, and in-service programs.
• Resolve patient and staff concerns while monitoring satisfaction.
• Ensure front office procedures and accuracy of financial transactions.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and adequate stock of supplies.
• Monitor KPIs and implement continual improvement programs.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
