Job summary

American Family Care, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an urgent care clinic, manage non-physician staff, and ensure delivery of quality patient care.

You will recruit and onboard staff, optimize scheduling across functional areas, monitor performance metrics, enforce policies, and collaborate with the Medical Director to maintain compliant, efficient operations that support excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical office operations and supervisory duties.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and revenue cycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboard clinic staff for front desk to clinical roles.
• Maintain schedules and ensure optimal staffing across clinics.
• Supervise non-provider staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with Medical Director to ensure high-quality care.
• Ensure policy adherence and regulatory compliance.
• Train staff to perform duties safely and correctly.
• Monitor patient flow and clinic efficiency.
• Lead staff meetings, huddles, and in-service programs
• Address patient and staff concerns and monitor satisfaction
• Ensure accurate financial transactions and front desk procedures
• Maintain facility cleanliness and stock supplies
• Participate in team meetings and special projects.
