American Family Care (AFC) seeks a skilled Operations Manager to oversee clinic operations at an urgent care location. You will manage non-physician staff, ensure quality patient care, and maintain facility standards, supplies, and billing accuracy.

This role works within a franchised AFC location with varying duties across franchises. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in medical offices, strong communication, and a commitment to excellent patient service, while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
• Minimum two years experience in a supervisory role in a medical office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and patient satisfaction.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboard front office medical receptionist, medical assistant, x-ray, and other roles.
• Supervise, evaluate, and conduct performance reviews of non-provider staff.
• Partner with Medical Director to ensure quality care per physician instructions.
• Ensure policy compliance with company and state/federal regulations.
• Lead staff meetings, daily huddles, and in-service programs.
• Address patient and staff concerns and monitor patient satisfaction.
• Oversee financial transactions and front-office procedures for accuracy.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and stocking of medical and janitorial supplies.
• Monitor KPIs and implement continual improvement programs.
