Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an Urgent Care Clinic Manager to lead daily operations and drive patient-centered performance across staff, scheduling, compliance, and finances. You will supervise Medical Assistants, Front Desk, and X-Ray Techs, partner withProviders, and own the clinic’s results.

The role requires 3+ years in healthcare management, strong leadership, and experience with EMR systems (Experity preferred).

Qualifications

3+ years of healthcare management experience, preferably in urgent care or ambulatory care.
Strong leadership with ability to coach and retain staff.
Active BLS certification or must be obtained during onboarding.
Proficient in scheduling and payroll systems; EMR experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor non-provider staff and foster a service-driven culture.
Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, patient flow, scheduling, and resource use.
Monitor KPIs like wait times, NPS, turnover, and budget adherence.
Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance and internal protocols.
Handle recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, and performance management.
Communicate performance data and improvement plans with regional leadership.
Oversee clinic finances, including budget control and P&L tracking.
Provide on-floor support during peak hours.
