Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking a field sales professional to plan and execute sales activities across assigned accounts and territories. You will build relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers to improve service delivery and product support, aiming to make departments’ jobs easier and safer.

All salespersons are 1099 independent contractors, paid on commissions with unlimited potential. Expect approximately 40% of gross profit per sale, with options for full-time income or a strong second

Qualifications

• knowledge of fire service equipment and tools
• knowledge of basic computer applications
• knowledge of customer service principles
• knowledge of basic business principles

Responsibilities

• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• make sales calls to new and existing customers
• develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• negotiate
• develop sales proposals
• respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• follow up on sales activity
• monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• participate in sales events and training
