Touro University IITS is seeking an experienced technician to provide on-premises and remote support for faculty, staff, and students across classrooms, labs, libraries, and offices. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot AV and instructional technology, and assist presenters with hybrid learning environments.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, logging requests in ServiceNow, and supporting university-wide technology projects with various teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or at least two years of related education/experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and common instructional tech.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to assist non-technical users.

Mansioni

• Provides technical support to students, faculty, and staff for computer hardware, software, networking, classroom technology, and AV systems.
• Supports operation, maintenance, setup, and troubleshooting of AV equipment in classrooms, meeting rooms, event spaces, and shared tech areas.
• Installs, mounts, maintains, troubleshoots, and services IT, classroom, audiovisual, networking equipment, including elevated wall/ceiling locations.
• Uses ladders and step ladders to install, access, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and service equipment and cabling.
• Prepares, supports, records, edits, and posts events, ensuring audio/video/presentation/conferencing systems are configured and functioning.
• Assists users with classroom, hybrid learning, meeting, and event technology.
