Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of two (2) years hands‑on experience installing, maintaining, and supporting a wide spectrum of workstation configurations and peripheral devices.
Experience working within academic or related service environments.
Hands‑on experience with audio‑visual equipment and application services in a networked environment.

Responsibilities

Provides user training and frontline support for desktop/laptop users, printers, wireless access, eFax, VOIP, and multimedia on campus.
Respond to service requests, troubleshoot, and develop solutions.
Coordinate with vendors for third‑party services and participate in upgrades and new installations.
Perform minor repairs and arrange servicing as needed.
Document activities and responses in the service request system.
Maintain inventory records for AV and computing devices and software.
Provide on-site support for events, including after-hours coverage.
Train and support part-time AV/computing technicians.
Escalate issues to vendors and monitor resolutions.
Provide one-on-one end-user training.
Assist colleagues in related areas and handle other duties as assigned.
