Job summary

Central Bank in Missouri is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver an outstanding customer experience by handling teller transactions and personal banking services. This role acts as the main point of contact for customers, guiding them through everyday banking needs with care and professionalism.

You will identify financial needs, recommend appropriate products, participate in referral programs, and help grow the branch, while strictly following bank policies and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and negotiable instruments with minimal errors.
• Open and maintain consumer accounts with accuracy, compliance, and positive onboarding.
• Engage customers to identify financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Participate in referral programs, meeting goals and contributing to branch sales.
• Maintain and balance cash drawer within established limits and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone, resolving issues professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products, services and regulations to support customers.
• Prevent fraud by following procedures, identifying suspicious activity, and enforcing security protocols.
• Comply with banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security standards.
