Job summary

Central Bank of St. Louis is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver exceptional customer experiences by handling teller transactions and personal banking services.

You will identify financial needs, recommend suitable products, and actively participate in referral programs to drive branch growth and customer satisfaction. In this role you will open accounts, maintain accuracy in cash handling, and stay compliant with bank policies and regulatory requirements while building strong relationships

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, negotiable instruments).
• Open and maintain consumer accounts with accuracy and compliance.
• Engage customers to identify financial needs and recommend products.
• Participate in referral programs to meet branch goals.
• Balance cash drawer within limits and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and regulations.
• Prevent fraud by following security procedures and reporting suspicious activity.
• Comply with banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security standards.
