Central Bank Of St. Louis is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver exceptional customer experiences by handling teller transactions and personal banking services. You will be the primary contact for customers, identifying financial needs and suggesting suitable products and services.

This role supports branch growth through referrals, adheres to bank policies, and ensures compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and security standards while providing outstanding service both in-branch and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and negotiable instruments while minimizing operational error.
• Open and maintain consumer accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive onboarding experience.
• Engage customers in meaningful conversations to identify financial needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Actively participate in referral programs, meeting established goals and contributing to overall branch sales performance.
• Maintain and balance cash drawer, adhering to established limits and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone, resolving issues with professionalism and care.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all bank products, services, and applicable regulations to effectively support customers.
• Prevent fraud by following established procedures, identifying suspicious activity, and adhering to all security protocols.
• Comply with all applicable banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements and information security standards.
