Qualifications

• High school diploma and equivalent years of experience.
• One to three years’ experience in a financial branch environment or experience comparable within the financial industry or a retail sales environment.
• Experience with the loan application process and standard or typical internal operating policies and procedures.
• Candidates must be able to pass a background check including: Credit, Drug Screen, Bondability, & Criminal Background.

Responsibilities

• Greet members in a welcoming manner and ensure they feel valued and connected to Georgia’s Own Credit Union.
• Receives and processes financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan/credit card payments and loan advances.
• Open and close Consumer and Business Membership accounts; assist with account maintenance and related inquiries.
• Process loan applications and notify members of loan decisions; deliver and witness signing of loan documents.
