Georgia’s Own Credit Union is hiring a Universal Banker I to serve members as a teller and product advocate. You will process deposits, loans, and account maintenance, balancing cash and staying compliant with policies.

You’ll build relationships, suggest appropriate products, and resolve issues to ensure a seamless member experience. The role requires a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred) and 1–3 years in a financial or retail environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in financial branch or equivalent in financial industry or retail sales.
• Willing to cover at other branches and rotate Saturdays.
• Strong communication with members in all formats.
• Knowledge of loan processes and internal policies.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and connect them to Georgia’s Own Credit Union services.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions.
• Balance cash and maintain teller standards.
• Adhere to policies and regulatory requirements while handling issues.
• Open/close consumer and business accounts and assist with loan docs.
• Educate members on services and consult on product options.
