Georgia’s Own Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker I to join a dynamic team in Alpharetta, GA. This role blends teller responsibilities with proactive product recommendations to members and potential members.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account openings, and the full range of member services while delivering a high level of service, compliance, and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; financial experience preferred.
• 1–3 years in a financial branch or retail sales environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide exceptional service in person, phone, or digital channels.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions.
• Open/close consumer and business membership accounts.
• Process loan applications and communicate decisions.
• Educate members on services and cross-sell products.
• Document interactions in the IRM system and follow up as needed.
• Maintain compliance with policies, regulatory standards, and risk management.
