Qualifications

• Computer literacy required for daily tasks and system navigation.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families and staff.
• Understanding of operating principles in clinical support workflows.

Responsibilities

• Bed management and admissions coordination on the unit.
• Proficient use of OA Gold, CIS, Premise, BMD and other systems daily.
• Support unit projects such as payroll and scheduling as needed.
• Greeter and information resource for patients and families; relay messages to staff.
• Coordinate with Hospitalist teams for rounds and follow-up care.
• Maintain patient records and discharge paperwork; assist with transfers.
• Assist staffing and supply management; communicate with departments as needed.
• Maintain logs and inventories; support unit audit processes.
• Post shift schedules and coordinate coverage for next shift.
• Be prepared to initiate emergency procedures and respond to emergencies.
