Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a disciplined Unified Communications Technician to design, install, support, and upgrade Cisco UC infrastructure. You will monitor systems, assist with optimization, and ensure security across platforms such as CUCM, CUC, CER, and WebEx Control Hub.

The role requires hands-on UC knowledge, VoIP expertise, and the ability to document procedures and problems for end users and technical peers. Collaboration with Network, Security, and IT teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with hands-on Cisco UC support.
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications platforms (CUCM, CUC, CER) and WebEx Control Hub.
• Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and document solutions for end users and peers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a contact on service issues for unified communications platforms.
• Monitor UC systems and endpoints to ensure uptime and performance.
• Assist senior team members with platform configuration optimization.
• Review UC systems for proper security and access control.
• Perform VoIP and network troubleshooting to diagnose problems.
• Coordinate with telephony Service Providers on issues.
• Collaborate with Network, Systems, Database, and Security teams.
• Create and update Change Management requests and Service Desk tickets.
• Provide daily status updates to seniors.
• Maintain UC hardware and software to current status.
• Produce technical documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
