Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a Unified Communications Administrator to design, install, support, and upgrade Cisco UC infrastructure.

The role requires strong UC and networking knowledge, hands-on CUCM/CUC/CER experience, and ability to troubleshoot complex issues with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include monitoring, platform optimization, security reviews, problem resolution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with hands-on Cisco UC support experience (2+ years).
Minimum one relevant industry certification preferred (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, Collaboration, DevNet).
Hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications platforms (CUCM, UCCX, Unity) preferred.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (OSI model, routing, subnets, SNMP).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

Serve as the UC administrator contact for service issues and escalation.
Perform daily monitoring of unified communications systems and endpoints for optimal uptime.
Assist senior staff with platform configuration optimization and security reviews.
Coordinate with telephony providers on service issues and changes.
Produce technical documentation, diagrams, and user procedures for end users and peers.
