Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks an experienced Unified Communications Engineer to design, install, support, and upgrade Cisco UC infrastructure in a banking environment.

You will monitor systems, perform advanced troubleshooting, and collaborate with Network, Systems, Database, and Security teams to maintain uptime. The role requires hands-on experience with CUCM/ CU C, Cisco Unity, and WebEx; strong documentation skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with hands-on UC support experience.
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications or non-Cisco collaboration platforms.
• Industry certification is preferred (CCNA/CCNP, Network+, DevNet, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide design, installation, support and upgrades for Cisco UC infrastructure.
• Monitor UC systems and endpoints for performance and uptime.
• Troubleshoot VoIP, routing, and security issues with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with service providers and cross-functional teams.
• Create documentation, diagrams, and procedures for users and management.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
