Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a Cisco Unified Communications Engineer to design, install, support, and upgrade the Cisco UC infrastructure. You will monitor systems, troubleshoot VoIP and network issues, and produce end-user and management documentation.

The role requires strong UC knowledge, OSI networking, and familiarity with CUCM, Cisco Unity, WebEx Control Hub, and related tools. Banking environment experience and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Cisco UC/Networking.
• Experience in a banking or regulated environment preferred.
• Proficiency with common networking concepts and security practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serves as UC platform contact and escalation point for UC Administrator I.
• Executes daily monitoring of UC systems to ensure uptime.
• Assists senior staff with platform optimization and design.
• Reviews UC systems for proper security and configurations.
• Performs VoIP and network troubleshooting to diagnose issues.
• Coordinates with telephony providers on service issues.
• Creates Change Management requests for scheduled maintenance and updates.
• Creates and updates Service Desk tickets as needed.
• Provides daily status updates to senior team members.
• Maintains UC hardware and software to current status.
• Composes technical docs, diagrams, and procedures.
