Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a Cisco Unified Communications professional to design, install, support, and upgrade our UC infrastructure. The role requires strong UC and networking knowledge to work independently with minimal supervision.

You will assist other support tiers with complex incidents, draft user and technical documentation, and provide daily status updates to management while maintaining current UC hardware and software configurations.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least two years of hands-on experience supporting Cisco Networking or Cisco Unified Communications.
Minimum of one relevant industry certification preferred.
Experience with Cisco UC platforms (CUCM, CUC, CER) and related VoIP technologies.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

Serve as UC systems contact and escalation point for issues.
Perform daily monitoring checks on unified communications systems and endpoints.
Assist senior staff with optimization of platform configuration and design.
Coordinate with service providers on service issues.
Create/update service desk tickets and status reports for management.
Develop technical documentation, diagrams, and procedures for users and peers.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
Ensure proper security reviews of UC systems and endpoints.
