Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks a Cisco Unified Communications Specialist to design, install, support, and upgrade the bank's UC infrastructure. Strong UC and networking knowledge is required; you will work with minimal supervision and provide documentation for end users and peers.

You will coordinate with Network, Systems, Security teams, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to advanced troubleshooting and change management procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; two years hands-on experience in Cisco UC or similar platforms.
• Two years hands-on experience supporting Cisco Networking, Cisco Unified Communications or other collaboration platforms.
• Minimum of one relevant industry certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as UC platform owner and escalation point for UC issues; monitors and troubleshoots UC systems and endpoints.
• Performs daily monitoring and optimization of UC environments to ensure uptime and performance.
• Collaborates with Network, Systems, Database, and Security teams; assists senior members with platform design and configuration.
• Creates and updates technical documentation, diagrams, and procedures for end users and teammates.
• Interfaces with users to determine problems and drive resolution; submits Change Management requests for scheduled maintenance.
