Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; required.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Networking and Unified Communications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a point of contact on service issues related to unified communications and acts as escalation for UC Administrator I.
• Executes daily monitoring checks on unified communications systems and endpoints to ensure performance and uptime.
• Assist senior team members with optimization of platform configuration and design.
• Periodically reviews UC systems to ensure proper security.
• Performs VoIP and network troubleshooting to diagnose problems.
• Coordinates with telephony Service Providers on service issues.
• Collaborates with Network, Systems, Database, and Security teams.
• Interacts with users to determine and resolve issues.
• Submits Change Management requests for maintenance activities.
• Creates and updates Service Desk tickets for all work performed.
• Provides daily status updates to senior staff.
