Anduril Industries is seeking a highly capable debugger to diagnose and fix complex field-reported anomalies across subsystems. You will reproduce, visualize, and verify fixes in challenging hardware-in-the-loop or simulation environments, writing robust code in Rust/C++/Python/Go and documenting root causes for long-term reliability.

You will work closely with hardware and software teams, using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/ELK, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe deployments and thorough testing.

Qualifications

• Real experience debugging code you didn’t write, under time pressure, with incomplete information.
• Comfort in reading/fixing bugs in Rust, C++, Python, or Go.
• Systems observability tooling experience (Prometheus/Grafana, Loki/ELK).
• Linux and systems fluency; exposure to declarative OS setups is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 25%+ of the time.

Responsabilités

• Take field-reported anomaly and identify subsystems involved, not just where reported.
• Reproduce issues with recorded data and visualize results.
• Use per-service metrics and logs to reconstruct system state at failure.
• Confirm fixes in hardware-in-the-loop or simulated environments before release.
• Write fixes in the relevant language with tests and CI integration.
• Diagnose root cause vs. deployment/config issues and apply proper fixes.
• Document root cause and fix for each closed issue; help build on-call runbooks.
• Push back when structural subsystem changes are needed.
