Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a highly capable engineer to debug and fix field-reported anomalies across subsystems. You will reproduce issues from sensor and mission data, inspect metrics and logs, and validate fixes in hardware-in-the-loop environments before deployment to a vehicle.

Strong instincts for system debugging and comfort with Rust, C++, Python, or Go are essential. You’ll work closely with hardware teams and own the resolution through CI/CD, documenting root causes and contributing

Qualifications

• Real experience debugging code you didn't write under time pressure.
• Systems-debugging instincts: pull logs and metrics, reconstruct events.
• Exposure to observability tooling (Prometheus/Grafana, Loki/ELK).
• Linux and systems fluency; comfortable with hardware interactions.

Responsibilities

• Take a field-reported anomaly and identify the actual subsystem.
• Reproduce issues with field data and live pipelines; visualize results.
• Use existing metrics/logs to reconstruct system state at failure.
• Confirm fixes in simulated or hardware-in-the-loop environments before testing on vehicles.
• Write fixes in the actual subsystem language with tests and CI/CD.
• Determine if the problem is a bug, bad config, or deployment mismatch and fix at the source.
• Document root cause and fix for each closed issue to improve future reliability.
• Push back to owning teams when core subsystem changes are required.
