Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a skilled systems debugger for its maritime initiatives. You will reproduce field anomalies, identify responsible subsystems, and ship robust fixes across Rust, C++, Python, or Go. Expect to work close to hardware with CI, tests, and automated deployment.

You will leverage Prometheus/Grafana for observability, run tests in simulated or hardware-in-the-loop environments, and document root causes to improve subsystems and on-call runbooks. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Real experience debugging code under time pressure with incomplete information.
• Comfort with at least two of Rust, C++, Python, Go to read and fix bugs.
• Systems-debugging instincts: pull logs and metrics, reconstruct what happened.
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/ELK).
• Linux and systems fluency; exposure to hardware/sensors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take field-reported anomalies and identify the actual subsystem.
• Reproduce issues using recorded data and live pipelines.
• Use existing metrics/logs to reconstruct state and verify fixes in a sim or hardware-in-the-loop.
• Write fixes in the appropriate language with tests and CI integration.
• Explain root cause and fix to enable long-term improvement and playbooks.
