Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a seasoned systems debugger to chase field-reported anomalies across subsystems, reproduce data, and verify fixes in hardware-in-the-loop environments. You will own cross‑system debugging and drive real fixes into the live codebase across Rust, C++, Python, or Go.

You will write fixes with tests, document root causes for long‑term reliability, and collaborate with hardware teams to ensure robust fleet software. This is a demanding, hands‑on role with significant travel.

Qualifications

• Real experience debugging code under time pressure with incomplete information.
• Comfort in at least two of Rust, modern C++, Python, Go to read and fix bugs.
• Systems-debugging instincts: pull logs and metrics, reconstruct what happened.
• Exposure to observability tooling and Linux/system fluency.
• Willingness to travel 25%+ of the time.

Responsibilities

• Take field-reported anomalies and identify the actual subsystem involved.
• Reproduce issues using recorded data and live pipelines, with visualization.
• Use existing metrics/logs to reconstruct system state at failure.
• Verify fixes in hardware-in-the-loop before deployment.
• Write fixes in the relevant language with tests and CI integration.
