Job summary

Redpath USA Corporation seeks a journey level Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, disassemble and rebuild mining equipment including jumbo drills, haul trucks, and bolters. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs to mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, and safely operate related equipment.

Requires 5 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, 2+ years underground mining, and a clean driving record. Strong diagnostic and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Documented maintenance experience of 5 years in heavy mining equipment.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Underground mining.
• Full working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Must possess a current State Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Proficient in the use of computers and associated software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using manuals and diagrams.
• Perform preventative and major maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and manufacturer specs.
• Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and service trucks safely.
• Order parts and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
