Job summary

Redpath USA Corporation is seeking a journey-level Mechanic to perform quality maintenance, diagnostics, disassembly, and reassembly on mining equipment including jumbo drills and other underground equipment.

The role requires 5 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience, at least 2 years in underground mining, and the ability to work shifts including nights and weekends. Candidates must read schematics and operate diagnostic software safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
• Recognized trade certificate in maintenance or repair preferred.
• 5 years documented maintenance experience on heavy mining equipment.
• Minimum 2 years underground mining experience.
• Proficiency with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using manuals and diagrams.
• Perform preventative, general/major maintenance and repairs as required.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure performance and specs.
• Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and service trucks safely.
