Job summary

Redpath Mining Inc. seeks a journey level Mechanic to perform quality maintenance, diagnostics, and rebuilds on underground mining equipment.

You will service jumbo drills, haul trucks, bolters, loaders, and dozers, both in shop and on site, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs with a focus on equipment reliability and compliance with OEM specifications.

Qualifications

• High school or GED; recognized trade certificate preferred.
• 5 years documented maintenance experience on heavy mining equipment.
• Minimum 2 years underground mining experience.
• Current State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Proficient reading of manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions using service manuals and manuals.
• Perform preventative and major maintenance per shop and field work orders.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure performance and manufacturer specs.
• Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and service trucks safely.
• Maintain safe work areas and complete required paperwork.
