Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is looking for an Underground Equipment Operator to support construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical underground distribution systems. The role involves travel to various locations and potentially another state to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities include safe operation around energized equipment, assisting with transformer installation and fuse replacement, and following rigging and PPE requirements. Physical labor and adherence to safety rules are essential.

Qualifications

• Reading and communicating effectively in English.
• Able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Will travel long distances on short notice when required.
• CDL preferred or obtainable within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe construction, maintenance or repair of underground distribution systems.
• Assist with installing underground transformers.
• Assist in replacing fuses and clearing faulted circuits.
• Work around energized high voltage systems with caution and PPE.
