Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an Underground Equipment Operator to join our team. This entry-level role involves construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical underground distribution systems across multiple locations with potential travel to other states based on customer needs.

The position requires strong safety awareness, physical stamina, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Long hours, overtime, and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 5-year minimum of recent field experience.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime and outdoors in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Work safely while constructing, maintaining or repairing energized and de-energized underground.
• Assist with installing underground transformers.
• Assist in replacing fuses in transformers and clears faulted circuits and systems.
• Operate and inspect heavy equipment and ensure PPE compliance.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools.
