Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an Underground Equipment Operator to support the installation, maintenance and repair of underground electrical distribution systems. This entry-level position travels to various sites and may require out-of-state travel based on customer needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with transformers, fuses, and high-voltage tasks while maintaining equipment and PPE, and coordinating with teams to ensure safe, efficient work in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Must read and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to travel long distances on short notice.
• Physically capable of demanding field work in variable weather.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, maintenance or repair of underground distribution systems.
• Perform safe operation of heavy equipment and tools.
• Support installation of underground transformers and fuses.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements at all times.
• Travel to different locations as required by customer demands.
