Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking passionate TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax expertise and community engagement at local TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will prepare returns, give tax advice, and collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver an end-to-end TurboTax experience. You will grow the local client base, participate in outreach events, and leverage marketing tools to build relationships within your community.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, at least 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and agree to use name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert for the community.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business returns.
• Identify deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning.
• Collaborate with specialists to deliver an end-to-end Intuit experience for clients.
• Grow the local TurboTax client base through outreach and events.
• Engage with clients in person and via Intuit video tools; deliver excellent service.
