Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax advice, prepare returns, and guide clients through complex scenarios while collaborating with specialists across the Intuit ecosystem. Grow your local client base, participate in community events, and deliver a seamless end-to-end TurboTax experience with marketing and software support.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or attorney with tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax prep software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office during hours 8:00–17:00 local time, 20+ hrs/week; training and compliance requirements apply.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and participate in branding.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence; create tax tips/resources per Intuit policies.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business income, deductions, amendments.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally through outreach, events, and partnerships with marketing support.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and help clients meet financial goals.
