Job summary

Lentech, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT support specialist to deliver Tier 2 and 3 assistance for workstations, servers, printers, and conferencing equipment. This role involves on-site and remote troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize system performance.

Responsibilities include site surveys, hardware procurement planning, installation scheduling, and documentation. You will train users, maintain critical fiber and telecom infrastructure, and collaborate across IT teams to drive

Qualifications

Must be TS/SCI with FSP and able to access today.
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1–2 years of IT experience.
8570 Certification; Security+ is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for workstations, servers, printers, and conferencing equipment, on-site and remote.
Troubleshoot, repair, and test hardware to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
Conduct site surveys and document configurations to ensure transparency and repeatability.
Assist with hardware procurement planning and develop installation schedules for deployment.
Build and install specialized cabling and integration for site needs or hardware integrations.
Train site personnel in proper use and maintenance of IT hardware and resources.
Maintain and support fiberoptic modems, multiplexers, cabling, and telephone systems for connectivity.
Follow SOPs and use ticketing systems to track issues and document resolutions.
Serve as an end-user support resource, providing timely and professional guidance.
Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business units for project outcomes and continuous improvement.
