Job summary

T-Rex Solutions, LLC is seeking an IT Field Support Specialist to deliver Tier 2/3 support for desktops, servers, printers, and conferencing gear in the Columbia, MD area. The role requires an active TS/SCI w/ FSP clearance and the ability to work on-site and remotely, with strong hardware diagnostics and installation capabilities.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant IT experience.
8570 Certification required; Security+ preferred.
Active TS/SCI w/ FSP clearance.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2/3 on-site and remote technical support for workstations, servers, printers, and conferencing equipment.
Conduct site surveys and document configurations for transparency and repeatability.
Prepare hardware procurement specs and installation schedules for deployments.
Install and configure new hardware, cabling, and related components; support network upgrade initiatives.
