FLASH Technology Group in Columbia, MD is seeking an IT Field Support Specialist II to deliver Tier 2 and 3 support for workstations, servers, printers, and teleconferencing equipment, both on-site and remotely, ensuring minimized downtime and strong performance.

You will conduct site surveys, prepare installation schedules, document configurations, assist with hardware procurement, and train site personnel to maximize value from IT resources while following SOPs and ticketing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of IT experience.
• Security+ certification required.
• TS/SCI with polygraph and in access today required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 hardware and software support on-site and remotely.
• Conduct detailed site surveys and document configurations.
• Prepare hardware specifications and installation schedules.
• Support network upgrades and cabling projects.
• Train site personnel on hardware usage.
• Maintain fiber-modem, mux, and telecom equipment.
• Follow SOPs and use ticketing systems for tracking.
