Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to provide first-rate service with extensive knowledge of products and services. The TSA will write work orders, handle OTC transactions, and perform suggestive selling while ensuring customers return to the road better than they came.

You will source parts, prepare quotes, process payments, and coordinate deliveries with vendors. A high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license are required for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous cashier and customer service experience; experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions; properly write up an ETA Work Order; secure Purchase Orders, prepare and communicate quotes to customer.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift report; understand various payment types.
• Ensure the cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and restrooms.
• Maintain the safety of both customers and team members.
