Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC in Cheyenne, WY, is seeking a Service Advisor for our MHC Kenworth-Cheyenne branch. You will greet customers, coordinate repair requests, estimate repair costs, and support the Service Manager with warranty documentation and shop planning.

This role emphasizes accurate repair-order input, timely communication with foremen, and upselling routine maintenance when appropriate. You will maintain a clean, organized shop and participate in ongoing training to stay current

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in related field.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Good leadership abilities and a positive attitude.
• CDL preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen for task assignment.
• Ensure expedient service through understanding repair requests.
• Collaborate with Service Manager to resolve disputes and warranty actions.
• Ensure proper documentation for labor (customer, internal and warranty).
• Input repair orders into the data system and close orders.
• Maintain shop tools and supplies.
• Inform Service Manager of customer complaints to address before vehicle leaves.
• Advise customers on needed service and suggest additional work.
• Participate in training to stay current on technical and warranty issues.
• Help maintain a clean shop and office area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
