Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group, seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, coordinate repair requests, and estimate repair costs within guidelines. You will assist the Service Manager with warranty documentation and filing, and help schedule shop work with Foremen.

Qualifications include CDL (preferred), strong customer relations, leadership, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• CDL (preferred).
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Good leadership abilities.
• Must have a positive can-do attitude.
• Computer experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen for task assignment.
• Advise customers on needed service work and potential additional labor and related service opportunities.
• Input repair order information into the data processing system and close repair orders.
• Maintain shop tools and supplies; ensure proper documentation for warranty and labor sales.
• Assist in clerical duties for warranty, policy settlements, repair orders and preparation.
• Participate in training to stay current on technical and warranty issues.
• Maintain a clean shop and office area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
