Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC Kenworth) seeks a Service Advisor to greet customers, coordinate repair requests, and estimate repair costs within guidelines. The role supports the Service Manager with warranty documentation and shop scheduling to ensure timely service.

You will input repair orders, manage clerical duties, and assist with customer communication on progress. A CDL is preferred, with strong leadership and a positive attitude welcomed.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred and helpful for eligibility.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in related field.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Good leadership abilities.
• Positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and coordinate repair requests with Service Manager and Shop Foremen.
• Estimate repair costs within guidelines and advise on needed service work.
• Input repair orders and ensure proper warranty documentation.
• Maintain shop supplies and keep the work area clean.
• Communicate with customers on service progress and scheduling.
• Assist in clerical duties and warranty processing.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and upsell when appropriate.
• Support shop team with proper task assignment and workflow.
