Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC Kenworth) in Oklahoma City seeks a Service Advisor to greet customers, coordinate repair requests, and estimate repair costs within guidelines. You will work with the Service Manager and shop foremen to schedule work and ensure timely service.

The role emphasizes customer relations, communication, and documentation for warranty and repair orders, with opportunities for involvement in preventative maintenance discussions and parts upsell.

Qualifications

• CDL (preferred).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in related field.
• Computer experience (preferred).
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.
• Good leadership abilities.
• Must have a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen for task assignment and proper work scheduling.
• Advise customers on needed service work and suggest additional labor, parts, and body shop services when applicable.
• Input repair order information into the data processing system and close repair orders.
• Maintain and administer shop tool and supply requirements and status.
• Inform the Service Manager of customer complaints so they may be addressed.
• Assist in warranty documentation and filing; support clerical duties as needed.
