Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC seeks a Tree Care Service (TCS) Business Developer to manage the pipeline from prospecting to closing. This role partners with operations, finance, marketing, and proposal administration to respond to bids and meet sales targets.

The BD is a proactive, self-starting leader who enjoys interacting with the public and colleagues; 3–5 years B2B selling experience is required, with a relevant Bachelor’s degree and TCIA/Arborist certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Appropriate Tree Care Industry certifications (TCIA or Certified Arborist).
• Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at the mid-to-senior levels, 3-5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Sell and estimate Tree Care Services work in regional territories.
• Perform sales prospecting using consultative sales techniques to build relationships, marketing, and pricing.
• Develop Tree Care programs and estimates for existing clients with Account Managers and Branch Manager.
• Conduct heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, and web demonstrations; negotiate contracts with minimal supervision.
• Network to expand new tree care service accounts in targeted markets.
• Log activity consistently in Salesforce and collaborate with internal teams to drive larger opportunities.
• Build trust-based relationships with key decision makers and work in a fast-paced environment.
