Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Tree Care Service (TCS) Business Developer to manage the pipeline from prospecting to closing. The BD collaborates with operations, finance, marketing, and proposal administration to meet sales targets and build trust-based relationships with key decision makers.

The role requires extensive face-to-face B2B selling, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment while traveling to client sites and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience at mid-to-senior levels.
• Experience in the service industry with commercial contract sales desirable.
• Experience managing multiple projects across a large territory.
• Proficient with MS Office and CRM/SFA tools.

Responsibilities

• Sell and estimate Tree Care Services work in regional territories.
• Prospect using consultative sales techniques to build relationships and pricing.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, marketing, and proposal administration to bid responses.
• Conduct heavy phone prospecting, presentations, and demonstrations; negotiate contracts.
