Town of Davie, FL is seeking a maintenance supervisor for 24/7 operation support of water, wastewater, and facilities. The role oversees technicians and contractors, plans preventive maintenance, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating projects, managing inventories, and maintaining CMMS records. A Class D license and the ability to obtain C and B licenses are required within set timeframes.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of extensive maintenance experience in water/wastewater plant components; one year in a supervisory/lead role.
• Florida Class D Water or Wastewater license required.
• Ability to obtain Florida Class C Water or Wastewater license within four years of appointment.
• Florida Class B CDL license or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, and direct maintenance, repair, and installation for treatment plants and facilities.
• Inspect equipment and recommend maintenance or replacement.
• Coordinate projects including equipment fabrication, installation, and repair.
• Request and review vendor quotes; process purchase orders and invoices.
• Prepare maintenance schedules and safety checks; maintain records.
