The Town of Davie Utilities Department is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee 24/7 maintenance and repair of water, wastewater, and related facilities. This role includes supervising crews, coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities extend to planning preventative maintenance, inspecting equipment, and maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED.
• Five (5) years of extensive and progressive experience in installation, repair and maintenance of water and waste treatment plant components, or a related field.
• One (1) out of the five (5) years must be at a supervisory or lead level, with progressive responsibility in water and wastewater plant maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Plans, develops, organizes and administers maintenance and repair programs for Utilities Treatment Plants and facilities.
• Inspects plant equipment and recommends maintenance or replacement.
• Coordinates projects including fabrication, installation, repair and replacement.
• Reviews vendor quotes and processes purchase orders and invoices.
• Maintains maintenance schedules, safety checks, and inspection checklists.
• Maintains inventory of equipment and spare parts.
• Keeps records on preventative maintenance and repair costs.
• Assists with CMMS implementation and maintenance.
• Directs and reviews work of employees or contractors; ensures project compliance.
• Prepares performance evaluations and work schedules.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies and disasters.
