Zusammenfassung

The Town of Davie Utilities Department seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance and repair of water, wastewater, and related facilities. You will supervise staff, plan preventive maintenance, and coordinate projects while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will inspect equipment, manage CMMS, review vendor quotes, and respond to after-hours emergencies as part of a 24/7 operations team. A Class D license is required with further Florida licenses or acquisitions encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of maintenance experience in water or wastewater plants.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role.
• Florida Class D license in water or wastewater treatment.
• Florida Class C license or ability to obtain within 4 years.
• Florida Class B CDL or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Preferred Broward Master Electrician or Journeyman license.

Aufgaben

• Plan, develop, organize and administer a comprehensive maintenance program for treatment plants and facilities.
• Inspect equipment regularly and recommend maintenance or replacement.
• Coordinate equipment fabrication, installation, repair and replacement projects.
• Review vendor quotes, manage purchase orders and invoices.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, safety checks, and inspection checklists.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and spare parts.
• Maintain CMMS records and reports.
• Assign and supervise staff or contractors; ensure project quality and timelines.
• Prepare performance evaluations and manage staff schedules.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and disasters; 24/7 operations.
