Job summary

The Town of Davie is seeking a skilled Utility Maintenance Worker to install, maintain and repair water distribution and wastewater systems under supervision. You will receive and carry out work assignments from Utilities Field Technicians and report to the Utilities Maintenance Supervisor.

A valid Florida driver’s license, high school diploma, and at least 1 year of related experience are required. Ability to obtain Level III Water Distribution and Class C wastewater licenses within specified

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in utility maintenance or construction labor.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, repairs and replaces water and sewer lines and fixtures.
• Reads blueprints and locates lines; responds to service calls and inspections.
• Operates heavy equipment and transports materials to work sites.
