Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our water/wastewater facility in Pembroke Pines, FL. You will plan and supervise all maintenance activities across treatment plants and pumping stations, ensuring reliable operation and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include managing CMMS-driven schedules, supervising a diverse maintenance team, and coordinating major overhauls while monitoring costs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of experience in water or wastewater utility maintenance.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required water/wastewater certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for water and wastewater facilities.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Supervise mechanics, electricians, instrumentation technicians, and contractors.
• Develop maintenance schedules using CMMS software.
• Oversee equipment maintenance of pumps, motors, valves, and process equipment.
• Coordinate major equipment overhauls, plant shutdowns, and capital projects.
• Collaborate with operations staff to ensure reliable treatment processes.
• Review performance data and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
